FRILITE G-Series are Cenospheres with Al2O3 content between 26 and 32 % which leads to good temperature resistance of over 1150 °C and they are recognizable by their off-white to gray color.
Cenospheres are lightweight, inert, hollow spheres consisting largely of silica and alumina and are filled gas, typically occuring as a byproduct of coal combustion at thermal power plants and carefully collected after separation from the common fly ash.
With our integrated raw material sourcing, production processes and logistics we can ensure highest quality standards throughout the whole supply chain.
FRILITE G-Series are available in sub grades between 5 and 500 microns and a bulk density of about 400 kg/m³, specific gravity typically reaching from 0,7 to 0,85 g/cm³ and featuring up to 90% survival rates at > 3000 psi.
Because of their temperature resistance, low density and good packing factor FRILITE G-Series are especially suited to be used as a cost efficient filler in following applications:
- Foundry and Refractory
- Cementitious products
- Caulks, sealants, putties and adhesives
